Accessible Facilities– Pier 17 is an ADA-compliant facility. Accessible seating, restrooms and concessions are available for all events.  To purchase ADA-accessible seating, please call the Box Office at 212-571-0910.

Address – The entrance to Pier 17 is located at the intersection of Fulton and South Streets, at 89 South Street, New York, NY 10038.

Alcohol Policy – Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase for most events.  All guests who appear to be forty (40) years of age or younger shall present a valid form of ID with proof of age in order to purchase alcoholic beverages, such as:

Valid US Driver's License
Valid ID card issued by the US State or Federal Government
Valid US Passport and/or Passport Card
Valid US military ID
Valid Foreign Passport with Age verification

Alcohol sales may be limited per customer, based on the event. Pier 17 reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any guest.  Guests are not permitted to bring alcoholic beverages into Pier 17 or depart with beverages purchased inside.

Animals – Only trained and licensed service or guide animals are permitted onto the Pier 17 Rooftop. 

Baby Changing Stations – Located in the family restrooms on the 4th floor.

Bags – The Seaport strongly discourages guests from bringing unnecessary bags and backpacks into the venue.  Oversize bags and luggage will not be permitted at any time.  All bags will be subject to search, which may delay your entry.  The Seaport assumes no responsibility for unattended bags, which may be removed from the premises and destroyed.

Bicycle Storage – Located on 1st floor, adjacent to the box office.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the box office during business hours or through Ticketmaster online ( and over the phone (1-800-745-3000).
A $4.50 facility fee per ticket will be added to all tickets purchased at the box office.  Additional service charges will apply for tickets bought through Ticketmaster.

Cameras/Photography – For some events, small, handheld, non-professional cameras (including Go Pro Cameras) are permitted as long as the equipment does not interfere with the enjoyment of your fellow guest.  Please note that for certain events, cameras WILL NOT be permitted.  Video and Audio Equipment, recording devices, selfie sticks, professional cameras (with a lens of 2.5 inches or greater) are strictly prohibited.  Reproduction for commercial purposes is prohibited without the written consent of the Seaport.

Cancelled/Postponed Events – The Pier 17 Rooftop is an outdoor venue, so please dress accordingly.  On the rare occasion that an event is cancelled or postponed, please visit the specific event web page for further information.

Checking – There are no coat, bag, or parcel checking facilities available for the public.

Children Admission Policy – For all events, children under 34” in height may enter the Venue free of charge (with no ticket), however, they must share a seat with an accompanying ticketed adult.

Code of Conduct – Guidelines set forth to keep Pier 17 a friendly and safe environment. Includes:
Disruptive behavior
Failure to follow instructions of event personnel
Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures
Interference of the event
Intoxication or signs of impairment related to drugs or alcohol
Sitting in a location other than your ticketed seat
Verbal or Physical harassment of any kind

Concessions – Concessions will be available on the Rooftop during all publicly ticketed events.

Elevators – Three passenger elevators are located near the West Entrance of Pier 17 building, and may also be accessed from the Main Entrance by making a left beyond the escalators.

Emergencies and Evacuation – Should you encounter any kind of emergency, please see your nearest staff member and call 911. In the event of an emergency evacuation, please follow directions of staff members to exit in a calm, orderly and safe manner.

Entrances – The general entrance for Rooftop events is on the North side (Brooklyn Bridge side) of the Pier 17 building.  VIP tickets and physically-challenges guests will enter using the elevators located near the West Entrance.

Escalators – Public escalators for access to all floors are located in the Atrium of Pier 17.  Please use only designated escalators to the Rooftop, which in most cases will be beyond the security checkpoint on the north side of the building.

First Aid – The safety of our guests is of utmost importance.  If you need medical assistance, please see a staff member immediately. EMTs will be present during all publicly ticketed Rooftop Events.

Green Initiatives – Pier 17 is committed to “being green”. Many of our spaces include energy savings, composting and recycling.

Impaired Guests – We at Pier 17 strive on making every guest enjoy their experience.  Our staff reserves the right to eject or deny entry to any guest who appears to be impaired or causing a disturbance to other guests.

Merchandise – on event days, specific merchandise booths will be activated. Merchandise booths will be located on the 4th Floor in the Elevator Lobby

Prohibited Items – For safety reasons, guests will be refused entry if they are in possession of any prohibited items.  If found inside the venue with a prohibited item, the item will be confiscated and the guest may be ejected.  The following items are not permitted:
Alcohol, Bottles, Cans, Coolers, thermoses, etc.
Animal other than service animals
Balls of any kind
Cameras with lenses over 2.5”
Illegal Substances
Laser Pens
Oversize Bags or Luggage
Signs and Banners


Rain – The Pier 17 Rooftop is an outdoor venue, so please dress accordingly.  On the rare occasion that an event is cancelled or postponed, please visit the specific event web page for further information.

Recycling – Pier 17 is committed to keeping the environment clean. Please help by doing your part. Please place all plastic and aluminum bottles and cans in the recycling containers located throughout the building.

Re-Entry – there is a NO RE-ENTRY policy during events, other than certain exceptions pursuant to management discretion.

Restrooms - Restrooms are located on Level 4 - Men’s, Women’s and Family

Seating – For concerts and events with reserved seating, please refer to your specific events seating chart (or check with a staff member).

Security – All guests will be subject to a security check which may include magnetometers, wands, bag checks, etc.  Guests refusing to agree to a security check will not be admitted.  Please plan accordingly.

Signs – not permitted

Smoking Policy – The Pier 17 Rooftop is a SMOKE FREE FACILITY, including electronic cigarettes. Failure to comply may result in ejection.

Stairways – stairways are located throughout the facility and are available for egress ONLY.

Strollers – strollers are NOT permitted on the Rooftop during events
