ESPN:

Studio With A View

ESPN is the latest addition to the revitalized Seaport District NYC. The iconic sports network has opening its new broadcasting center in a massive 19,000-square-foot waterfront space on the brand-new Pier 17, with sweeping views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, and the East River.

“The Seaport District production facility is a state-of-the-art content factory that will allow us to produce differentiated studio content for both television and digital,” says Connor Schell, ESPN’s executive vice president of content. From its new home at Pier 17, ESPN is broadcasting radio, studio shows, news and social segments -- including its new morning program Get Up! hosted by Mike Greenberg, Michelle Beadle, and Jalen Rose. “The flexible spaces, both indoor and outdoor, allow us to take advantage of all that New York City has to offer,” adds Schell.

ESPN will soon be joined by restaurants, bars, select retail and the Pier 17 Rooftop entertainment venue. The area continues to evolve into the city’s most exciting new cultural hub. Stay tuned as the Seaport District announces more exciting partnerships that bring innovative concepts for local residents, New Yorkers, and the world to enjoy.
